What my child needs for PE
Safe Footwear
Safe footwear is a shoe that covers their entire foot, is ankle high or lower, might have laces or Velcro, it could slide on but won’t slide off easily, doesn’t have thick heels or wheels and no crocs. Having safe footwear will keep your child and others safe. If you have any questions about footwear please send me an email.

During the winter and rainy months, if it is possible please send your child in with an extra pair of socks or shoes. If your child has PE in the morning their feet might get wet from the grass. During winter we will be outside for snowshoeing.
Clothing
Please send your child in with what they need to stay warm and dry. This might be sending a sweatshirt, coat, hat, or gloves. Make sure whatever your child wears to PE is comfortable enough to move in. If they want to wear a skirt, dress or a tutu they must also wear shorts or leggings underneath.
