On rainy days we are always looking for something to do inside to stay active. One day my kids and I decided to try bowling but we did not have any bowling pins. So we used empty toilet paper rolls for our pins. If you don't have a bowling ball instead use a small soccer ball like we did, a rolled up pair of socks or any ball that you might have. Setup your pins or toilet paper rolls then roll two times to see how many pins you can knock down. Have fun and keep checking my blog for some other toilet paper roll games and activities.

Week 3 PE Lesson Core Strength
This week we are focusing on our core strength. We will be doing a workout similar to a Tabata workout except that you will be performing each abdominal movement for 30 seconds with a 20 second rest in between. In this workout there are 6 different abdominal moves you will perform.
For Example: you will do as many Snitches catches as you can for 30 seconds, 20 rest, Dobby crunches for 30 seconds, 20 second rest, Weasley wiggles for 30 seconds, 20 second rest, Remus reaches for 30 seconds, 20 second rest, Albus Ab kicks for 30 seconds, 20 second rest, Diagon Abs for 30 seconds.
This workout is from Glenn Higgins. Glenn Higgins is a fitness traitor who sets his workouts to different movie themed backgrounds for example Batman, Star Wars and Harry Potter. If you are interested in other workouts you can find him on Youtube.
Try to do 3 sets of the workout. You can do this all at once or spread the workout throughout the week. Know what is best for your body.
There are two videos you can watch. The first video is the actual workout with a clock and the second video is all the modifications for the first video's workout.
Below is the second video that has the modifications for the Harry Potter week 3 Ab workout.
The Eastman Indoor Obstacle Course
In my past post I said I would create an indoor course well here is the indoor Eastman obstacle course I setup with my two kids. We used things we had around the house to create the obstacles.
If you create your own course or obstacle I would love to see it. Take a picture, video or even draw what your obstacle or course looks like and send it to me. I could post what you all create. Miss you all. Have fun and be creative.

Zumba with Robyn
Hey everyone,
Again today we will be having Robyn Labrecque as our guest teacher. Robyn is a licensed Zumba instructor who will be running a Zoom Zumba dance class today (Tuesday) at 9:15 am. She will be hosting her kid Zumba class every Tuesday. When you click on the link below it will take you to a Zoom meeting where you will need to wait to be invited into the group. Once in Robyn is going to make sure that everyone participating will be muted and not seen by her or anyone else. When she is finished she will unmute everyone to see if they have any questions. Last week was a great routine.
